Family and Friends Railcard discount
The Family and Friends Railcard takes a third off adult fares and 60 % off children’s fares. It covers up to four adults and four children on the same journey, and at least one adult and one child have to be travelling for it to apply.
How to buy a Family and Friends Railcard
Online from the official Railcard site or at a station ticket office. Up to two adults can be named on the card, and the children travelling with you do not have to be related to you.
Family and Friends railcard renewal
It runs for one year, or for three if you buy the longer card, and can be renewed. The named adults can be changed when you renew.
