The Senior Railcard takes a third off most rail fares in Great Britain, and it is open to anyone aged 60 or over. There is no upper age limit and no restriction on how often you travel.
How to buy a Senior Railcard
Online from the official Railcard site or at a station ticket office. You need proof of age — a passport or a driving licence — the first time you apply.
Senior railcard renewal
It runs for one year, or for three if you buy the longer card, and can be renewed as many times as you like. Buying the three-year card costs less per year than renewing annually.
